Anna Kendrick
Anna Kendrick was born in Portland,
Maine, to Janice (Cooke), an accountant and William Kendrick, a teacher. Her
older brother is, Michael Cooke Kendrick, who has also performed. She is from
English, Irish, and Scottish descent.For her performance as "Dinah"
in "High Society" on Broadway, Anna Kendrick was nominated for an
Tony Award (second youngest ever), the Drama Desk Award, and an award called a
Fany Award (best actress featured in a musical). Her stunning performance
earned her the Drama League and Theatre World Award.She was a lead singer in
Cabaret's Kit Kat Club at "Carnegie Hall Live" in Great Performances:

an Oscar. In the year 2010, she was nominated for her role as Natalie Keener in
the second and third seasons of the show. She graduated from Deering High
School in Portland, Maine in 2003. London is where she was filming Into the
