Then, she attended in the National College of Fine Arts of Dublin and then left the college because there was a lack of motivation. She thought she'd go on a vacation for a time to make sure she got familiar with the area. As she sat in a cafe with friends and chatting with friends, she was approached by a still photographer, who inquired if she'd be interested to model. She said yes, believing that she'd be able utilize the cash to purchase pockets money. The modeling business proved rewarding and fun, and shortly after, she started doing it professionally. Modeling contract work led to commercials and she travelled the globe. A casting director saw her work and suggested that she consider acting instead. At age 19, she was referred to London in which she was selected for an audition for A View to a Kill ( 1985) an upcoming James Bond movie. It was her dream to act, and she decided to work as an actor. Following her debut film that she directed, she did a handful of TV series in London as well as in Dublin, but her big success came when her name was in the role of Aryan sexual seductress, The Dr. Elsa Schneider in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989).
