Becki Newton

Becki is a native of Guilford Connecticut. At age 13, she began appearing in plays at the local theater and during summer stage productions. She studied European History at the University of Pennsylvania at the time, and during this time she spent several years abroad. Becki moved to NYC right after her graduation to pursue Broadway. Following her appearance in many commercials across the country and guest-starring roles such as Cold Case (2003), Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (1999), as well as American Dreams (2002), she was offered the role of Amanda on Ugly Betty (2006). She's got a husband named Chris Diamantopoulos and has a brother named Matt Newton. Some of the most gorgeous women I've met are not always models of the highest caliber. It's a blessing that I don't have to worry about the red carpet at work since I'm not an expert. However, I don't want to risk it when it comes to fashion. Glamour can be fun! Spending time to get ready isn't about being fussy but rather taking care of myself. I've learned there's nothing wrong with being a little fussy.
