With the Squid Game's original Netflix series, Hoyeon, a South Korean actor and model attracted international attention. Her breakout performance on the show Hoyeon took home the Screen Actors Guild award for Best Performance by a Female Actress in the Drama Series and was awarded a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series. Hoyeon was born in Myeonmok-dong located in Seoul. Hoyeon began her modeling career in 2011 when she was an independent model who walked at Seoul Fashion Week. Hoyeon was a contestant on the 4th season of Korea's Next Top Model and placed as the second runner-up. She made her debut on the international scene in 2016 , when Louis Vuitton offered her an exclusive worldwide contract. Fendi, Marc Jacobs and Miu Miu are among the brands that have featured her in their campaigns.
