After modeling for several years, Gale became famous in 1999 after she was cast as part of an advertising campaign from Omnitel, now Vodafone Italy. She appeared in their advertisements until 2006. It was the Australian Tourist Commission also hired the model in 2003 to serve as"The Face of Australia "face of Australia" on the continent of Italy. Gale has graced the covers of Australian Marie Claire and Grazia. Also, she was featured in Italian Maxim as well as Australian InStyle. Gale was mentioned in the editorials of Australian Cosmopolitan, Vogue Italia, and Italian GQ. Gale has modelled at Italian fashion houses such as Gianfranco Ferre, Genny, Gai Mattiolo and has also worked on runways for Mariella Burani and Angelo Marani at Milan Fashion Week. Gale is also a supporter of Australian designers including Colette Dinnigan and Kirrily Johnsonston.
