It is believed that the Jackson Koehler Eagle Brewery was founded in Erie Pennsylvania in 1847 by her family. John Martin Magenau Jr., the President as well as Chief Executive Officer, of the brewery, was the first to establish it at Erie Pennsylvania in 1847 until 1978. Jacobs first began acting lessons when she was 8 years old and continued to attend sessions on Saturdays at the Pittsburgh Playhouse. Following her graduation from Mt. Jacobs left Lebanon High School to go to New York City, in 2000. There she became part of the Drama Division of Group 33. She graduated in 2004 with a Bachelor's Degree.
