Abigail Leigh Spencer, born August 4, 1981 is an American actor. She is most well-known for her performances in the movies Cowboys & Aliens The Haunting in Connecticut 2 Ghosts of Georgia Oz the Great & Powerful The Great and Powerful Is Where I Leave You and the television series Angela's Eyes Mad Men Hawthorne & Suits. Amantha is the main character in Rectify which is a Sundance Channel Drama series. Abigail Leigh Spencer, an American actress and film director who is also a TV producer. She became popular with her performances on the show drama Rectify as well as the sci-fi series Timeless. She is a native of Gulf Breeze Florida she made her acting debut in the part in the soap-opera All My Children. Her character in the soap drama All My Children earned the actress an award by Soap Opera Digest for Best Female Newcomer. She played mostly guest roles for several years in TV series. Her name was awe-inspiring for the role she played as her character, Dr. Erin Jameson, in the show Hawthorne. Her dazzling looks, combined with her incredible acting ability led to a gradual growth of the number of fans. In the movie Campfire Stones, she played an important role in it at the age of 20. Jekyll This Means War as well as Chasing Mavericks are the other movies in which she appeared. For her part in Beautiful Now, she was nominated for the Madrid International Film Festival Award. On the television program Timeless, she played her role as Lucy Preston, a history professor. Spencer was praised from critics regarding her character in the sci-fi TV program Timeless. She received nominations for an award called the Teen Choice Award.
