Alison Doody
Alison Doody has been an Irish actor and model since November 11, 1996. Her feature film debut was a tiny part in The James Bond film A View to a Kill. (1985). Later she played the Nazi-sympathising archaeologist Elsa Schneider (Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade 1989). Siobhan Doovan portrayed Charlotte in Taffin in 1988. Rebecca Flannery starred in Major League II in 1994. Doody was a model when the opportunity was offered by a hopeful photographer. The career she pursued has evolved into commercial modelling. Doody avoided nude and glamour modeling, which that she incorporated into her acting. Doody was offered a tiny part as Jenny Flex for 1985's A View to a Kill following the fact that she was noticed by the director who cast her. Doody's name was featured in John Willis Screen World Vol. 12 which features the most promising actors of 1986. 38. She played opposite Pierce Brosnan, in the 1988 film Taffin. Then she took her most memorable role to date as Austrian Archaeologist and Nazisympathiser Dr. Elsa Schneider playing alongside Harrison Ford. Doody is a member of the James Bond family, having been in the film with Sean Connery and Jonathan Pryce in the film Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Doody was a co-star in the year 1991 alongside Jonathan Pryce opposite the British miniseries Selling Hitler, which was inspired by the publication fraud known as The Hitler Diaries. She then moved to Hollywood. Chosen to replace Cybill Shepherd as spokesperson for L'Oreal she went on to perform alongside Charlie Sheen in 1994's Major League II as Flannery his agent and girlfriend. Doody was a part of The 2002 British comedy The Actors. Michael Caine portrayed her at a ceremony in recognition of an award. Doody acted alongside Patrick Swayze in a 2004 television movie adaptation of King Solomon's Mines and also starred in a short called Benjamin's Struggle (2005) a pamphlet that discussed the Holocaust as well as in the British TV program Waking the Dead (in a two-part show called. Doody recorded a part in the film of Danny Dyer, The Rapture. Later, she appeared as a guest in the medical drama of RTE The Clinic and was set to appear in a remake of the horror film The Asphyx but the project later stalled. In 2011, she started the first of two seasons on E4 comedy show Beaver Falls playing Pam Jefferson. The show featured her in We Still Kill the Old Way which was a film from 2014.
